Waiting for a refund

Hello!

I bought an item which I ended up not being satisfied with and the seller agreed to refund me the full price. I paid with my debit card and I recieved an email confirming the refund but I haven't recieved the refund. Since I paid straight from my card would it just appear there or through my paypal? And how long do things like this take?

Here's a few tips on refunds:

If you paid using your PayPal Account Balance or Bank Account, the refund is credited back to your PayPal Account Balance. Times can vary for many reasons, it can take from 1 day to several days depending on the funding source used by the party doing the refund.

If you paid using a credit card, the refund is credited back to that card. That process can take up to 2 weeks for the credit to appear on your card statement.

If you paid using a prepaid type card, the refund is credited back to that card however, as many cards are not reloadable, you have to contact the card issuer for assistance with getting the credit reapplied to the card.

On my pay pal account, the refund status says complete, but it has been 26 days. I paid with a debit card. I've yet to see anything appear on my bank statement. Every time I contact Pay Pal I get the run around. They tell me that they've issued a refund and there is nothing they can do. I've contacted my bank and Visa doesn't handle debit cases they forward me to my bank every time. I'm becoming extremely frustrated. The total was 325.00 and that's not change or a few dollars. I have bills and rent that I can use that towards. Please help me!
