Transfer still pending

I've had this Paypal account for a few years now,but rarely use it,The other day i desired to make a On-Line purchase,I transfered money from my personal bank account to my Paypal account and The Trasaction has shown up in My personal Back account and Paypal Transaction is still pending.Why is this?I thought that once my personal Bank Account has been Debited by Paypal that the funds would be avalible to me that day?I'm puzzled to say the least.

Im having the same problem i sent mobey to my account sunday night and it took it out of my bank account tuesday and my paypals still says processing?? Whats up i need to pay for my ebay stuff

I should have mentioned this,I too set up The Transfer this past Sunday and my back account was debited on Tuesday and I noticed a message after I logged into my account that stated the money will post to my Paypal Account today,Feb.16,2012,Well as of right now,Still Now Money.You would thing that all transgers are being done via a computer,that when your back account has been debited,the funds would be in your paypal account at the same time.I quess I was wrong.I think it probley would have been faster to pay by check.lol.
