I am in the process of trying to dispute here on PayPal but it is giving me "We're sorry, but this transaction cannot be disputed because it is not a purchase of goods or services. Please contact the recipient directly." What is this? some kind of joke? I am dealing with a thief here and no this is not a eBay purchase. What can I do here? I can't just let him take my money for free; is there to see his email address that he used to create a invoice for me? (apparently, he has only used a phone number to create).

Paypal only covers physical items sent in the post and not intangible / digital items at the moment.

Also you are not covered if you pay using the "gift / personal payments" option if that is what you used.
