Hello,
Recently I had made an unauthorized transaction complaint for a few purchased on my paypal. I changed my debit card and now paypal is reversing the funds to my payment. I believe that my payment was my debit card but since it is inactive will paypal just take my money? Where will it go?

First of all, love the name!
Second - the important part - is your refund. When a purchase paid for via a card is later refunded, we're required to send the funds back to the card. Since your card is cancelled, a few things could happen:
1) The card company accepts the credit and just moves it over to your new card/account
2) The card company accepts the credit, but you no longer have any accounts with them, so they hold the funds until you contact them
3) The card company doesn't accept the credit, and it bounces back into your PayPal balance (within 72 hours, very rare)
Hope this helps,
Adrian

I just had the same thing happen to me today. I was refunded funds on a card that had to be closed, even though I added the new card number to paypal. I talked to my debit card company before this and they assured me the funds would go to the active card. I still can't take closed card info off - I had money stolen. That's still not straightened out. I didn't find out I couldn't access funds until after business hours, so I'll have to wait until tomarrow to talk to the card company. It's frustrating and time consuming. Why doesn't paypal institute a way to make this easier for people? I can think of several ways of doing so. But, yes, getting a refund for an item that was completely bogus was a huge relief! The "seller" closed his ebay account when I requested a refund and had somehow put up false feedback about what a great seller he was. I can see why ebay charges seller fees, they had to cover my refund themselves. I appreciate the help the rep gave me on this, he's what I wish all customer service reps should be!
