Paypal not charging me?

I bought through ebay and money did not come off my bank account in the past 24 hours,

My paypal is linked to my bank and my debit card is also there us a backup payment, whats happeing how long does it take for it to show up on my statment?

When you pay a seller it is never instant > paypal credit the seller for you and then start the process of uploading your funds to paypal from your funding source.

They can leave your bank account in a few hours or a few days.

If your account has no money in it then they try again a few days later and if still no luck then they try the back up card you have registered to your paypal account.

If all that fails then your account is put into negative balance and you have limited use until you pay them back again.
