My question is, do I need to have my bank account connected to my paypal so that I can use my checking to pay for the rest of the item I'm going to purchase? I have $150 in my paypal balance and the item is $200. I want to use my checking account to cover the rest. I have used my checking to purchase stuff off ebay, so does that mean its connected already? And do I need to give my social security and stuff just to have my bank account connected? I dont really want to do that.
