So I posted an item on Craigslist and the person is not even in the same state! I would like to keep it safe and NOT have to give him all my information, but since he is interested in what I had posted I don't just want to turn him away. I opened the paypal account for shopping on Ebay, but saw some people saying that they accept payment through paypal. Im wondering:
How does that work?
Is it only through Ebay or is it possible to be paid through paypal?

Hi Angel-W22
As long as you have a verified paypal account you can accept paypal payments, all they need is your paypal email address nothing more
Its important you read up on sellers protection/rules/new sellers hold etc before you start first to sell
Words of advice as Craigslist is being hit by scammers
1)If you are selling an item that cannot be posted only accept cash on collection, if you accept paypal and have an item collected you will lose sellers protection
2)Also never ship an item until you see cleared payment in your account

Hey btgarland
Ppal only protect items that can be posted through a postal service where you can obtain proof of delivery not just proof of posting in case there is a problem
They do not protect sellers if you accept a ppal payment then the item is collected
