I want to order a dress online and pay with Paypal. I don't have the full amount in my paypal account and was wondering if I could pay what I can on my debit account and whatever lefts with my Paypal account? I don't have enough funds in my bank account as well to pay the entire amount with my debit card so can I decide how much I'm paying with my debit card ?

One thing I can think of is, Transfer some money to your Paypal account via your Debit Card.

And from there just pay the full amount using Paypal.

Would it be faster to do that? Or just withdraw it all back into my back account? I live in Canada and I really need to order this dress in two weeks and I don't want to be held up by a lot of business days, help 😞

It takes 3 - 4 days to withdraw funds from my PayPal account.

Otherwise, after you initiate an electronic funds transfer from a Canadian bank account, the funds will become available in your PayPal account within 7-8 business days.

I'm still waiting for my money to be placed into my Paypal account, they said it should be there by April 30. When it does get there, what do you think would be the best thing for me to do? Withdraw it all back into my bank account or add more money into my Paypal account? I need to make an order by May 13th 😕

Here's a question for you, When did you make the transaction of the money into your Paypal account?

April 22nd was when I made the transfer.

So from what you're saying the transaction has taken 8 days to reach your Paypal account.

Ok, here's what I would do and this is not a suggestion dont take my word on it, its just what I would do.

As soon as you the money goes through to your Paypal account.

Try making the order, "Paypal would deduct your Paypal balance and once its depleted they should deduct the rest from your bank"

However, if for some reason the Payment does not go through.

I would withdraw the money (from your Paypal Balance) to your bank.

And then just make the payment directly from your bank account.

Oh really? I could do that? I thought that I would have to pay with my debit card first then they would take whatevers left out of the paypal balance. Does it matter what payment method you do first?

It is possible to pay using the funds in your Account balance and the remainder with a credit card however, you must first elect to pay with your credit card. Your available balance will be used up and the remainder is charged to your card.
