I recently changed my profile from debit card to a credit card for paying for items that I purchase on EBAY.( I was advised that the credit card method is less vulnerable to fraud).
The payments are being processed as Cash Advances rather than regular credit card transactions as they are when I order from a catalog for instance. As a result I incur interest from the date of the transaction rather than after a billing cycle. I try very hard to avoid paying interest.
Is there some way to keep these purchases from being processed as cash advances. If this information was clear in the beginning I would not have made the change.
