on December 3rd I placed an order with WalMart for $45. I shortly after got an email from walmart saying they had to cancel the order (they do this quite often to me, randomly) so I replaced the order using another card. They charged the new card and the payment cleared no problem, the item was shipped,
today (7 days later) the original payment I made to walmart still shows authorized in my pending transactions list. I contacted walmart and they said they have already cancelled and refunded in their end, but the pending authorization has not been released yet still. How long do these typically take? Do they automatically fall off eventually or is all this due to the incompetence of walmart?
