New pay after delivery payment showing in completed.

I made a purchase on line this morning which is scheduled for pay after delivery, but when I looked at my account overview it was showing up in the completed section, rather than scheduled, even though it still said pay after delivery underneath. Phoned customer services who confirmed it was pay after delivery, and the email confirmed pay after delivery, but I haven't noticed this ever happening before. Probably worrying unduly, but just wondered if it's happened to anyone else?

I have spoken to customer services, who have assured me that the payment is pay after delivery and will not be taken immediately. What appears to have happened is that the scheduled payment date was not displayed after pay after delivery under the sellers name. This caused the payment to appear in completed rather than pending in my account overview.
I am also in the UK, but was directed here from my paypal account when I clicked help.
