Missing a Deposit

Using the Paypal Mobile app, I deposited a check last week. I checked on the depoist after 5 days and the status was "in Process."  Later that day the transaction dissapeared completely.  I checked with the accounting dept of the company that issued the check and they said the funds were transferred  4 days ago.  Which means I need this resolved through pay pal becasuse you already have my money. 

1) what happened to the deposit transaction? & how do I check on status now that it is missing

2) am i going to recieved this deposit in my account on some random date or do i need to start complaint and contact check issuing bank?

Unfortunately you're questions are directed to a public community forum.  Issues of this nature cannot be resolved here.   Most folks here are non PayPal people - volunteers if you will.  There are several PayPal monitors available however, only the customer support people can look at your account and research the issue.

Thanks snowshoe. I realize this is a public forum and I was hoping that someone had resolved a similar situation. Customer support wouldn't give me an explanation and could not track down the transaction... even though funds have transfered from the bank.
