Hi everyone!
I recently got a job that pay me via paypal, I am from Venezuela but they told it would be better to open a US paypal account instead of a venezuelan one so I did. I thought it would have been enable to transfer money just with the account without verifying it but I wasn't.
I opened it using a vpn to hide my venezuelan ip so I could open de US account. The problem is that I DON'T posses nor credit card nor bank account in the US to verify the my PayPal accpunt and they already paid me. I haven't accepted or declined the money because I am afraid that I will no be able to use it, or they could block me.
What should I do? Accept the money? Can I verify the bank account of my father who has a bank account in the US? I don't want to lose that money, I need it! Please help me, thank you very much.

Multiple accounts may still get your account limited. If one is limited, all will be limited.
If PayPal suspects you are doing this to circumvent international money transfer regulations you may also have a prolblem.
Do you plan to have the funds eventually come to Venezuela? If so, you will likely have another prolblem.
Suggest you make sure you have a clear path to get the funds and that you don't create an unfixable problem with PayPal acocunts.
Details matter and they will all need to be considered and maybe disclosed.

First, you must have the PayPal account in your country, not a foreign country. All associated accounts will need to be in your name in your country.
It may be time to be suspicious of the source of the funds as it appears they could be avoiding certaint banking regulations. if so, you could loose your money. You also risk limiting or closing your PayPal account if you violate their rules, which also allows you to only have 1 PayPal personal account.

It hasn't been disclosed where the funds originated--your country or another country?
How much do you really trust the sender of the money to make sure you get it?
Do you have a verified PayPal account in Venezuela?
I don't know the best answer and only comment some options you might consider.
Have the sender recall the money, if it is possible and then send it within Venezuela.
You could also contact PayPal for advice, but that will be difficult without personal contact by phone. You could try email, but you will need to very carefully provide all of the details, including name of sender. You will need to provide details about your accounts, but also make sure any account details are sent by secure email.
Click on the "contact" link at the bottom of the page for your options.

The funds are from a company in Canada, the one that I work for, and are trustworthy.
After all that mess, I created an italian paypal account (I am half italian, I've lived there and I have a bank account and credit card there) to get that money transfered to that account if ever find a solution. I didn't do it in the first place because it's Europe and I don't know if the payment was going to take too long. I can't do it with a paypal from my country because we have Foreign Exchange Control Policies that doesn't allow ANY citizen exchange foreign currencies in our national one. I just wanted to start saving in dollars because our currency doesn't worth a penny.
I already asked for help through Paypal Support and explained my case, I told them about my italian paypal account. I hope I find a solution with them.
Thanks anyways for your answers 😉

No, I dont want that money in Venezuela, I want it to stay in US$ or Euros, but never in my national currency. I plan to get the next payments in my italian Paypal account and transfer them to my italian bank account linked to it, which is already verified.
