I have a PayPal balance. A payment is due in a few days. I want to pay the balance using my linked credit card. When I click the payment button I get a message saying that I don't have a linked bank account which is true. I don't intend to link a bank account. My whole reason for signing up was to use a credit card (credit card would be protected, I'd get points on the credit card, etc), and then to pay the credit card balance monthly with my bank account. I tried asking PayPal customer support, but they sent me a canned answer that did not address my question. If it comes down to it I guess that I could just mail them a check along with an instruction to close the account. This experience so far seems to be more trouble than benefit. What am I missing?
