I was trying to buy some stuff with paypal but at the checkout moment, i received this error message saying "Error from gateway: The transaction cannot complete successfully. Instruct the customer to use an alternative payment method" .
The weird thing is that I used paypal less than a week ago and nothing wrong...
Same thing happened to me yesterday! I got an error code and said PayPal could not accept my payment, to contact them if I recieved the message more than once. I've been using PayPal for over a year now and have made 100+ purchases through them, and have never had a problem until now. Please let me know if you find out anything!
Multiple reasons, for example could be related to how the seller's account is configured or a site in the path is down or unavailable. There's really no way to tell.
