Enter PayPal Code is grey out, won't allow me to enter code!

Hi all,

I've added my Amex card into PayPal last week. In my Amex card online statement the PP code appeared yesterday.

 

To confirm this Amex card, I went back to PayPal -> Edit Credit Card  -> look for the Amex card to enter PayPal code, but the "Enter PayPal Code" link for this Amex card is grey out!   can't click and enter code. Not sure why it happen?

Clear your browser's cache and cookies and restart your browser, or... try a different browser.

 

If it's still greyed out, call PayPal customer support.

I'm having the same problem too. I already have the verification code but the "Enter Paypal Code" is greyed out. I tried using another browser but it shows the same problem. PayPal hasn't replied to my queries yet. This is so frustrating.

Hi,

Finally things are working.

We just need to be patience, I have to wait for 3 days after getting the PayPal code, and then this "Enter PayPal Code" no longer greyed out and I can key in code and activate my credit card successfully.

I guess I'll just have to wait a few more days so that I could activate mine. I'll also post an update if ever I get to verify mine by the end of the week.

Hi @ILIA1990!

 

Basically I had the same problem with @tcsee. My PayPal code was already posted on my online banking account and I was just about to verify it. However, I seem to have gotten confused with the verification process because when I clicked the "Get Verified" link, Paypal directed me to the page where I have to type in another debit card. From here, I thought it was alright to remove the debit card and add it again but this only made things worse. I did not realize I just had to edit the debit card details.

 

I guess I have to wait for a few more days to try verifying my debit card again *fingers crossed. The PayPal customer service email has not provided any useful advice on this matter. I'll just post updates soon.
