I have 2 Paypal accounts. One for my business and one personal one. I want to transfer part of my balance on my personal paypal account to my business account. Does Paypal charge me a fee to move money between my own paypal accounts?

No.
For US PayPal members, it's free to send a personal payment to someone in the United States in US Dollars if you use your bank or PayPal balance as the exclusive funding source.
Be sure to use the "Personal" option of the "Send Money" tab when sending the payment. The "Fees" section of PayPal's User Agreement has all the details... here' s the link...

What about sending money between Paypal accounts in the US and overseas? If the source of the funds is exclusively a Paypal balance and the transfer is done in US Dollars, plus the transfer marked 'personal'.... Any charges?

Hi scottyphus,
Section 8.4 of PayPal's User Agreement has those fees... here's the text...
8.4 International Payments. The following Fees apply when either the sender or recipient is outside the United States.
a. International Personal Payments.
The Fee is based on the country of the recipient:
Country Personal Payment Fee when
Payment Method is exclusively
Balance or bank
Australia 1%
Brazil 1%
Canada, sending only 0%
Canada, receiving only 1%
China 0.5%
Germany 2%
Hong Kong 0.5%
Singapore 0.5%
Taiwan 0.5%
Elsewhere 0.5%
* Sender generally determines whether the sender or recipient pays the Fee. See Section 8.1(b).
Note...
- In some instances, Personal Payment pricing may not be available. In these instances, all payments must be Purchase Payments.
- Personal Payments may not be sent to recipients in certain countries.

Hi, Sandy, I have the reverse question and I'm hoping you can answer it 😉 I live in Germany and want to transfer money to my US bank account. Both my German and my US accounts are linked to my PayPal account. So I would add funds in Euros to my German Paypal account and then transfer the money in dollars to my US account. I think I get charged 3% for the currency exchange, but is there another service fee on top of that? (I would have asked this question on the German Paypal site, but there doesn't seem to be a community forum there 😞

Hi berlin59,
It's my understanding that there will be an additional 0.5% fee for the cross-border nature of your payment.
The PayPal Personal Payment "Send Money" screen should allow you to preview the fees before sending the payment.
