Hi all.
I'm using STANDARD PayPal integration to sell downloadable products from my site. Currently, in order for the download to take place, buyers MUST be returned to a specific page so that custom variables are put into action. All of this is working ...
- but -
When I tested it on mobile, I was given the option to etiher continue with my purchase via browser OR open the PayPal app. I chose browser but wondered: "would the PayPal app return them automatically to the page I specified in my preferences?" and that concerns me.
My preferred solution to this would be that buyer's receive an email with the same temporary download link (the purchase) included within. However, if they aren't returned with the variable, I can't very well send that email, can I?
MY QUESTION:
Is there a way to tell PayPal to include the download link in their receipt or payment notification in case buyers aren't taken to the post-purchase "Here's what you bought/Download it now" page?
Regards.
