Cancelled refund

Hi , I paid for goods £500 , they didn't arrive and seller stopped communicating , ignoring all calls and e mails , opened a case with paypal , then received an email giving information of a refund (pending) rechecked tonight and refund has been cancelled! !! Have now escalated claim . Really disappointed that it is so difficult to contact paypal to resolve this or are least get information as to why my refund was cancelled.

A seller can only issue a refund via funds in their paypal balance or an echeque.

So if its an echeque from their bank account then if they don't have enough funds in there the refund will fail.

Paypal DO NOT get involved until you escalate the dispute to a claim up until then its between you and the seller to sort.
