Bought item using discount code but paid full price

Hello.

I recently bought an item and used a discount code when I bought it on ebay. However, I was charged the full price. Even in my emails it's saying I used a discount code, though the price was in full.

Does anyone know how I get the discounted funds back?

The seller would still get the full amount so it shows in your paypal account as the full amount BUT only the discounted amount should be deducted from your funding source.

I'll need to check the bank statement to see if it's the discounted fee deducted afterall.
