Bank transaction reversed?

I got an email saying that my bank account details were incorrect and that a transaction that I tried to make from my bank account to paypal account was reversed. What do I do to set this right? All of my account information is correct and the two small deposits into my account were made. Whe I went to "Add or edit a bank account" I re-entered the information and it told me that I had to fax them an ID and my bank statement. What should I do? Calling them didn't do anything.

It sounds like you will need to FAX your ID and bank statement.

Hello RobG and Welcome to the Community Robot wink

sandypurins is correct, I would suggest faxing in the documents that are being requested.

It sounds like you may have a savings account and not a checking account. The reason I say that is because if you have a savings account the transaction can be reversed if there has been to many withdrawals, eChecks, Add Funds, and/or Instant Transfers in a one month period.

If that is correct you may want to consider adding a checking account to your PayPal account to avoid situations like this.

I hope this helps.

Yes, it is a savings account but this was the first time I had ever done anything with it.
