About withdrawals to bank account and the pending status on it.

I recevived a sum of money in my PP a/c on the 21st this month. On the same day i made a withdrawal to my bank a/c. The status is pending. For almost 2 days the status is pending and today when i log in to check it says under status that the withdrawal has been completed and the date is 21st august.

It typically takes 2-3 working days before the sum reaches my bank a/c but should i count 2-3 days from 23th or from the 21st? What does pending actually mean? Does it mean that even though i technically made a withdrawal on 21st but paypal has probably queued up my withdrawal request and only made the transfer to bank a/c on the 23rd or did they make the transfer on the 21st and only update it to completed today?

I checked under details and the date and time was when i made the withdrawal.

From the time you actually submit the request for the withdraw or transfer, it can take 2 to 4 days for funds to appear in your bank account.  The time frame is based on the individual bank and their ACH schedules.

so when paypal puts pending for 2 days does it mean that they only made the transfer from pp to my bank acount after 2 days or after i requested for withdrawal?
