british credit card, wanting to use it in canada on paypal

Hi,
i live in canada and have a canadian paypal account, but i still have a british bank account with visa/debit card. i want to add this card to my canadian account, is it possible to do this.

You can not add bank accounts that hold other currencies or are located in a different country to PayPal Canada accounts. You will need to make a UK PayPal account to use your British bank.

Back to the question, i went on the UK paypal and it would'nt let me make a account, it kept going back to my canadian one.

Are you using a UK address? Also be sure to log out of any PayPal accounts before trying to make a new one.
