Hello, I am new to using paypal for this. I have set up an account so as to receive payments from a group I work with. This is for a fund which will be use to buy little extras for the office, so to speak. I have been asked to set up an account to make it easier for people to make the payments. What do they need in order to be able to pay me through paypal? Any help is greatly appreciated.

One option would be to require everyone to have a Personal PayPal Account. Then each person can use the Send Money feature to send you the funds via your email address. As long as the senders use funds from either their PayPal Account Balance or Bank Account, there are no transaction processing fees. If the sender uses a credit card, you will be charged a transaction processing fee. As long as everyone in the group is OK with this method, it should work fine. Note, everyone will have to "verify" their PayPal Account meaning that they will need to link and confirm a bank account.
Next option would be if members of the group do not want PayPal Accounts. Then you would need to have a Premier or Business Account. Premier and Business Accounts allow people to pay you without having to have a PayPal Account. They would be able to pay as guest however, you are subject to paying the transaction processing fees. You have the options to either setup a web page for receiving the funds or you can send each member of the group an invoice.

Does it work the same way if the sender has a business/premiere account and the receiver has a personal one?
