I have a Canadian account but all my deposits to PayPal are in US dollars, so I have a small US dollar balance. If I try to withdraw this money in Canada, PayPal charges me a conversion fee. What happens if I am travelling in the US and take an Uber? Can I pay the US Uber with US funds from PayPal or does PayPal first convert it to Canadian (charging a conversion fee) and then pay the Uber driver? Just trying to get my US funds out of PayPal in US funds rather than paying conversion fees.
