So I recently bought a MasterCard gift card with the intention of using it to pay for an eBay purchase using PayPal. I selected the pay with card option and entered the info... 16 digit card number, expiration, and three digits from the back. When I tried paying, it wouldn't go through. The card issuer website shows that the card is active & valid with money on it. All I can figure is when I entered the card info, it looked like it auto-filled with my personal billing address and since the gift card doesn't have a billing address -- much less my address -- it declined. Does this sound right? And is there a way for me to use this card via PayPal where it'll go through regardless of the billing address issue? Thanks for any help or guidance.
