HELP. My prepaid cards are being denied on eBay?

I purchased $200 in Vanilla Mastercards and a $75 Vanilla Visa Card and put them on my PayPal to use on eBay. When I use it on eBay it says

"We're sorry, but your transaction couldn't be completed using the selected card, MasterCard x-7701 because it has been denied by the card issuer. Another payment method has been chosen for you. Please continue with this payment method, or choose a different way to pay."

All the billing information is correct... I spent almost $300 n these cards to buy something for christmas and now it's not working.. Can anyone tell me why?

apparently you are supposed to register your cards on the vanila mastercard site with same address/--postal/zip code your paypal account is registered with, should be a web address on the back of the card, dont know if you've solved this problem yet or not, but try that next time.
