receiving payment

i'm selling a car, can i utilize paypal forto receive the payment from the buyer even if it is a large amount?  Is it secure.  has anyone done this before

Paypal is the last payment method i would accept for a car for 2 reasons.

1. There is no paypal seller protection for motor vehicles with paypal.

2. There is an ongoing SCAM with cars where the buyer offers to 'ship' the car.
