is it possible to use account without credit/debit card info for people only SELL

Hello,

Firstly, I am a seller in eBay and I am planning to use Paypal to receive money from my customers.I will not use my account to buy something, I will sell only.

I also don't want to link my credit or debit card info to my account.My question is; Can I use my Paypal account (without any credit/debit card info)  to sell on eBay? I guess at some point I will need to link my credit card number to Paypal, is there a specific duration that I can use my Paypal account without any card number?

I understand that Paypal needs card info in order to guarantee that you pay your debs allways, but I will not spend I will ONLY sell and I really can't understand why does it need our card info for verification?

How are you going to get the money FROM your customers without a linked bank account ?

Just a wild guess. 

sellers pose more risk than buyers to Paypal.

Sellers collect the dough and do not ship,ship a piece of rock ,transfer the fund and leave Paypal holding the  bag !

@lancelotme I am making business in eBay so if I don't ship (or ship a piece of rock) both eBay and Paypal would ban my accounts.I used to make business on eBay and have a perfect feedback history.I'm in my early 20s and don't have a credit history actually:)

@kernowlassIn this forum I read that I could open and use a Paypal account without any credit/debit number.I'm not sure about it though.So you say it is imposible to receive payments without a card number attached to your account.Ok then, thanks for help guys

I didn't mention a card as you can't withdraw funds from your paypal account balance to a card in the UK.

I asked how you were going to spend the money you earnt without a bank account linked to your paypal account?

I dont think anyone can open a Paypal account to sell and accept payments without linking either credit card or bank account.

Your address become confirmed when they check your credit card statement address,this is where most people receive their credit card statement.

Your account becomes verified when you link your bank account to Paypal,Paypal will make 2 small deposits into your bank account and give you a link to come back and tell them what these 2 deposits amount are.

Once you enter the correct amount,your bank account is now verified.

she can try opening an account now and see what Paypal does?

@kernowlass I am going to link a bank account one day in order to withdraw the money ofcourse but maybe 1 or 2 years later.Today I am only focused of making and saving the money.Will I be able to use Paypal for 1-2 years without any problems?

ok then you ''may'' well be able to receive funds into your paypal account for a while without a card BUT to raise your receiving limits you would have to add a card and bank account at some time or other.

she can spent the money in her Paypal account by buying online where Paypal is accepted or ask Paypal to send her a check which she can cash at the bank(if she is in USA,dontknow about UK)

But being new to selling,her payment would be withheld for up to 21 days.

I still think it is not that simple any more to sell with Paypal,that one can just open an account with no bank or credit card.
