how to change weight on shipping label

Hello,

I put the wrong weight while calculating the charge for shipping a package. It should be 8 pounds and a few ounces but I accidentally put 5 pounds. I included the measurements of the box so I wonder how critical it is to have the exact weight of the package.

Thank you,

Margo

If you already purchased the label, there dhould be a link to void it.

Then you can purchase a new label with the correct weight.

It will take a few days before you are refunded for the voided label

If you are shipping USPS,it has a system which checks the weight ,and make you pay the extra postage.

if it is Ebay label,it will charge eBAY and Ebay will charge you.

if stamps.com,it will be stamps.com,if USPS website, then your USPS account

I would think same with paypal.3 lbs is too big a difference not to notice

it happens to me recently,my shipping label is low ,so I slapped some stamps on the package to make up the differene, but USPS software does not count stamps,it read the shipping label.

It charges Ebay and Ebay did not charge me,just a warning for first time offender.
