Shipping label quick question

hello all!

Last tuesday I dropped off my packages at my local post office's front desk and one accidently fell over the counter, but I thought it wasn't a big deal and that the workers would help me pick it up when they collected the rest of my packages on the counter. However, later on the night, I went to check my packages to see if it was all scanned. All was scanned except the one package that fell over the counter. I went back to my post office and asked the workers to check if any packages were found on the fell, but the lady said there wasn't. It's been more than a week and the shipping label still says "shipping label created" and no signs of movement so now I believe that they lost my package.

Anyways, my question is could I reuse the shipping label, since I would like to resend the item to my buyer and the label technically wasn't used/scanned? would it still be valid after more than a week? I still have the old label and it says Jan. 17 on it.

just because it is not scanned at the counter does not mean it has been shipped, itmay not be shipped until it arrives at destination post office.

you can void the label ,if not used, you will get a refund after 30 days.

if you cant void it,call 1-800-usps number and ask them to track it,they usually have more information than what we see on USPS site
