I'm interested in allowing customers to scan a QR code linked to my PayPal business account in order to receive payment for purchases. I have created a QR code that is linked to my paypal.me link. Once I generate this code, I attempt to scan this code with the code scanner within the PayPal app, however, it fails to scan the code and notifies me that 'It desn't look like that's a valid code. Try again'
When I scan the same code using a free stand alone QR scanner app, it scans without problem and links right to the correct place and offer the opportunity to send payment as intended.
Any suggestions about what I may be doing incorrectly or perhaps a step I've missed?
