Is there any way I can place a freeze/hold on my own account for say 30 days, so NO ONE can touch or move my money?
I don't feel completly safe with electronic transactions especially these days and thought that placing a hold on a transaction would be easier than unlinking everything until the transaction is completed and the cash is in hand.

You have the password to your account. No other person can access it t move funds unless you give permission with your password.
However, you can't stop PayPal from moving funds which it does according the user agreement which you accepted. You can control future transactions by not making any more sales or purchases.

It is all according to PayPal policies and protections offered for both buyers and sellers. There are many factors to consider. PayPal, however, wants you to have NO disputes; as a business you should be resolving all buyer issues so no PayPal dispute is necessary.
Conducting business which results in disputes is actually a restricted activity.
From PayPal policies relating to restsicted activities:
Conduct your business or use the PayPal services in a manner that results in or may result in
- complaints;
- requests by buyers (either filed with us or card issuers) to invalidate payments made to you;

I sent out a paypal invoice and am waiting for whatever happens next. Just so many scams out there that one may miss a legitimate sale due to fear of being taken advantage of. We will see if this transaction keeps my faith in paypal or not. As this item is not an ebay item I find that support is at a minimum.
P.S. I have been with paypal since they first offered a way of paying for items on ebay what 15-20 years ago.
