Pending Payment

Recently sold a item on Ebay and the money is still pending in my paypal account. Ive sold a lot of items on Ebay and never had this happen before. Im not sure whether to despatch the item , wait for money to clear or cancel the payment. Any advice greatfully received. Thanks

Is there a clearance date? Does it say anything about a 21 day hold?

Just says the balance is pending. Never had this happen on other transactions before.

balance is pending is not seller hold,

is this transaction different from your usual transactions like high ticket or high risk?

is this from an overseas buyer?

no idea but seller is in the UK

Wish you had said that earlier, did he send sterling or dollars??

If sterling then you would need to go and click on this icon (>) next to your paypal balance and select manage currencies under the pop up box.

Then add pounds sterling or GBP as an accepted currency and it should show.

Then if you need to convert it go back to the same place and its on the right hand side.

Pounds , This payment will be in your pending balance until 19 January 2018 is what it says on my paypal. Am i safe to despatch the goods and will definately get the money?
