Payments pending until December 6 - and now they're still pending

I have two payments that I've been waiting for since December 1. Both are marked "Pending until Dec. 6." Now it is Dec. 6 and they still are "Pending." Why?

Let's be clear here. These are regular payroll payments that have been "Pending" for five days, and were supposed to be available today. They aren't. 

These are not "disputed" payments. There is no "dispute" from those who paid me. There is just the fact that my money is unavailable today, when I've been told for five days now that Dec. 6 was the day it would become available.
