So my account has been limited for a while now and I can't make any purchases through PayPal. I want to buy things on eBay, but can't because my accuont is limited. My bank account and debit card are linked to that account, so it won't even let me use my debit card alone to make purchases on eBay. When I log in to my account, this is what I get.

Why is my account access limited?

Your account access has been limited for the following reason(s):

  • Apr 25, 2012: Since this is a new account, we'd like some additional information to help confirm your identity.

(Your case ID for this reason is PP-001-757-644-327.)

(Your case ID for this reason is PP-001-391-548-091.)

  • Jun 13, 2011: We want to check with you to make sure that no one has logged in to your account without your permission.

Please take a moment to change your password and create new security questions. You should also take a look at your account information and recent transactions. Make sure that your account information (address, phone number, etc.) hasn't changed and that you recognize all of your recent transactions.

If you see a payment that you don't recognize, let us know by going to the Resolution Center. Click "Dispute a Transaction" to report an unauthorized transaction.

(Your case ID for this reason is PP-001-341-212-698.)

This limitation cannot be appealed.

I can't close the account either, so I don't know what to do. I think I may call them, but it says "the limitation cannot be appealed.". This is a problem because I need to use eBay and what not. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

if it cannot be appealed, then you cant use Paypal to make payment on Ebay or anywhere Paypal is accepted.

You can ask someone to buy for you, where are you?

Or you can approach Ebay seller if you can send money order or postal order or personal check, but you will have no Ebay /Paypal buyer protection.
