New Packing Slip

What is wrong with you people at Paypal? You took a prefectly good shipping label purchase form and created a <removed>. So we used the shipping labels on Ebay, which were the same as the old Paypal label page. The only thing Paypal had that was any good was the packing slip. Very nice, clear, concise.... but some idiot at Paypal had a "better idea" and came up with a new "woosie", limp, amatuer packing slip. Didn't anyone ever teach you, "IF IT AIN'T BROKE, DON'T FIX IT!!!"

With the previous version - which worked perfectly well - we could print 2 packing slips on one sheet of A4. Now only one will fit. This doubles our paper cost and consequently is not environmentally sound.

This "spread out" format is not easy on the eye and is not as quickly read as the previous more compact format.

This seems to be the way Paypal are going, the new Paypal history pages are in this sprawling format also, again the "classic" format was compact and simple, far better.

I suspect they have a 20 something staff member in charge of these things trying to make their mark by changing perfectly good things to justify their salary. When something works well and causes no problems just LEAVE IT ALONE, it doesn't need fixing!

Ok it is nice for businesses to add their logo and edit it. but why not add a seperate section for that. This new page defeats its pupose, why was it changed, was it to add the scissors bit at the bottom, so you cut the sheet of paper and throw that bit away, was it saving paper? nope.

Some of us users use that packing slip as a posting label, it can be folded just right to fit inside the "document inside" pouches you get. When i printed it out, it was so "non sticky out" - bold - i had to try it on several printers to see which gave me the boldest text.

Before it look professional, now it looks like it was put together by an I.T. beginner class.

What more we donthave a choice, its bad enough ebay charging us 10% of our shipping costs and now this. It looks like i may have to go back to when we used to do our own packaging labels, we will now go back in time. I suppose it is a first where and improvement was worse and a backwards step.

Or am i the only one.

EBAY buyer id is missing on the new packing slip.

Adding the date is also a good ideal

Yes, a couple more of the many shortcomings of the "New and Improved" packing slip.  They just can't get it right.

Stunning that this one in particular hasn't been fixed yet. Still showing the wrong Global addressses and still no Ebay buyer ID.
