A company called KASA.cz is offering positions as their rep whereby you receive payment on their behalf through paypal and then transfer the payment to them for which you are supposedly paid a fee and a percentage of the sale.  Is this business legitamate?

Everyone on the forum has had the same experience...editing text messages with the promise of payment and receiving none.  Around $160 of accrued services provided, notice was given that the editing job was being discontinued but you could act as a "representative" of KASA.cv receiving PayPal payments from KASA.cv U.S. customers.  The line was that Chech Republic entities could not receive more than $350 from PayPal per month, which I think was found to be false by another poster here.  Anyway, you are requested to establish a PayPal account with limits removed, as your message suggests.  I believe we all received encouraging texts praising our work and timliness, too.

NO ONE here has received any compensation for editing work.  To my knowledge, no one here has received any PayPal monies for processing and forwarding to KASA.cz either.  Unfortunately, this is most certainly a scam.

I am out already, I'm too busy for these scammers. Thanks guys. I simply just wrote them that I can't accept any rep position until I get paid for editing first that was the end of my communication with them till date. 😁😆😆

It appears I may have gotten a little further down the road. I was an editor and did $140 of work. The rep offer soon followed just like everyone else in this forum. They sent $2823 to my Paypal account and asked me to deduct the $140, keep a 5% commission $161 and UPS the rest. I still have the funds (2823) Frank is who I am working with and he calls everyday asking if I sent the package yet. Paypal looked into it and said I received the money as a personal payment and therefore even if the payer disputes, my bank account would not be touched. I am still skeptical about sending $2522 in cash via UPS to someone I don't know. We are checking every angle we can think of to make sure this cannot come back on us. If anyone has actually completed a transaction please let us know

CoachC - To my knowledge, you are the first one on this thread to get paid and asked to process a PayPal payment. Good luck, I hope it goes smoothly. I have not had contact with KASA.cz in several weeks.

Yes. $2823 is in my bank account right now. They are waiting for me to ship cash to them
