A company called KASA.cz is offering positions as their rep whereby you receive payment on their behalf through paypal and then transfer the payment to them for which you are supposedly paid a fee and a percentage of the sale. Is this business legitamate?

Paypal has informed me that anything to do with KASA is a scam. I received a payment from "Friends of Phoenix Library". I moved the funds to my bank account and waited. A few days later my account was blocked by Paypal for suspicious activity. As I was working with Paypal to unblock my account a dispute for the payment was received. When I called Paypal to question what was happening they informed me that others had been working with KASA and received payments like mine. After they withdrew the money and sent it to Kasa, Paypal was notified that the payments were unauthorized and charged the accounts thus creating a negative balance. Unfortunately if the account holder had already sent the money to KASA they would be faced with a negative balance from Paypal. Fortunately for me I still have the funds in my bank account and when I return them to Paypal I will be in the clear. I hope this info helps others to avoid withdrawing funds and sending cash to Kasa. It appears Paypal will come back and request those monies.

Thanks for the post. You have confirmed my biggest fear about the KAZA.cz payment structure...the representative being hung out to reimburse funds personally. Glad you were cautious and hung on to the payment before forwarding cash to KASA.cz!

Just received a PayPal payment for the sale of some camera equipment...$4,827.87. Obviously, I won't be sending this along to KASA.cz, instead will be contacting PayPal. They are persistent.

Just got off the phone with PayPal. The suggested remedy for the payment received was to change my password and refund the payment, which I did. Will see what happens next.

Why is anyone even still dealing with these scoundrels? It's been obvious that this is nothing but a scam for quite some time now. And, it's not really KASA.cz that is doing the scamming. They actually appear to be a legit company. Check the email addresses that you received from the slimeballs that are scamming you. The addresses are not associated with Kasa and Kasa is just being used by these crooks. Report them and then quit dealing with them. You are only wasting your time and risk losing money or your good credit.
