A company called KASA.cz is offering positions as their rep whereby you receive payment on their behalf through paypal and then transfer the payment to them for which you are supposedly paid a fee and a percentage of the sale.  Is this business legitamate?

Part 3.  First, KASA.CZ does exist; https://www.kasa.cz/ .  It appears to be a legitimate retail operation, with locations and the ability to purchase goods online.  But, according to the editing materials I "worked" on, the sales representatives in the U.S. are supposedly receiving payment for are from KASA.CZ's "auction" (like ebay) of antiques and jewelery.  I do not see anywhere on the KASA.CZ website that these are offered.  A couple of days ago I requested the auction website address from the "KASA.CZ" sponsor who has been in contact with me and I have not had any response.  In addition, I am supposedly now an active representative with KASA.CZ but have not been contacted yet concerning a sale I am to facilitate payment for.  Stay tuned.

Didn't you read my last post about my contacting Kasa directly and their response about their being aware of someone "misusing" their web? It's a Scam!!!! Quit wasting your time with these scumbags. Any personal info you give them sets you up for being swindled of your money. Once you pay them money from your account it will be gone. Then you will find that the funds put into your account have been invalidated.

Yes, I did read your post about contacting KASA.CZ.  Glad you received a response, because I contacted them too but heard nothing back.  I agree with what you're saying.  I am curious to see if there is a "next step" before bailing out completely.

I think we all get the same info at about the same time with no results. I am supposed to be active now also.

I have had the same experience. I am now at $140.00 they owe me for copyediting, so that is the number at which they try to lure you to be a representative. Thank you everyone who contributed to this blog. It sounded like a scam from the start, but the legit KASA page was the part that made the scam seem legit. If I hear anything else, I will post.

Same thing happened/is happening to me. Batch #4 contained a letter to a prospective representative. The letter stated that "the company" could not receive payments of more than $350. Paypal tells me there is no limit.

Oh, by the way, was the name of the person you all dealt with Catherine H? I will leave off the last name.

My editing contact person's name was Caudell.  My phone "interview" person, before being accepted as a representative, was "Frank".
