I received money as a gift, can the sender take it back?

I was sent x amount of dollars strictly as a gift, I did not sell anything, nor did I provide any type of service, or anything other than simply receiving x amount of dollars. Just like you would receive a Christmas present or birthday present. The transaction went through successfully, it showed the same amount I was gifted in my PayPal balance, so then I attempted to transfer my balance to my debit card account and it was held. I later was notified that the sender filed a dispute, she was accusing me of not shipping the item I supposedly sold her, and I I did not,nor have I ever made any transaction that included a sale of anything with her. The one and only transaction I've had with this woman was when she simply sent me x amount of dollars, once again not for a sale of anything, and I received it. It would be exactly like me walking up to a stranger and handing him $100 and walking away. That person didn't do anything to earn it, the person didn't make any type of deal, he just simply was handed $100. I do not wish to give the money I received as a gift back to the woman who sent it to me originally. I know she has filed a dispute, but can she take the money back, even though I refuse to return the money? From what I understand once the payment has been successfully received and is in the recipients current balance amount, the sender cannot cancel or take the money back in any way if he or she changes her mind or whatever it may be. If any of you guys could help me out on this issue I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you in advance for your help!
