How kong before funds get to my account

I send the transfer it said 1 bussiness day when i called they say it coukd take 5 bussiness days... so how long is it supposed to take. I went send money from a friend and if i had known it would be like this we wouldnt have messed with paypal

PayPal is never a good option when yu want quick access to your funds; that is,unless you have a PayPal business debit card.

The reality is that it takes 3-5 business days for the transfer from PayPal through ACH to your bank account.

Wire transfer bank to bank is faster.

Western Union is faster.

Paypal is not a bank,it has accounts with banks,your money is kept with others in a Paypal bank account,when Paypal said completed,it is no different than you and I doing online banking ,sending payment to someone like utility bill etc/

It is the  bank which  send  all the TRANSACTIONS  into ACH TO the destination bank,it usally takes 3-5 days,it may do it once a day usually in the evening.

dont forget your bank which receives these transactions whether it is credit or debit will take sometime to allocate to individual accounts.

Soon we will be able to pay 25 cents and have it faster,using a card,not all cards would work,so we have to wait til we hear from Paypal.

Note that Paypal said completed ,it just mean it is waiting for the bank to send it into ACH .

ACH automated clearing house is owned by Fed Reserve to enable member banks  to clear with each other

When you initaite a withdraw you will see at the bottom it says it "usually" take 1 "business day" but then it also goes on to say that  there can be delays for review and some transactions could be canceled if they is an issue.

However, it does usually end up taking anywhere from 1 business day to 5 business day depending on alot factors (day of the week and time of day the transaction was initiated, etc). I also keep in mind that these transfers have to go through the AHT which is run by the federal reserve which reviews every single transaction that comes through U.S. banks. There is definately a process to these withdraws and I would suggest anyone sending money to or from their bank always allow for the possiblity that it could take from 1 to 5 business days.

If a withdraw takes longer than 7 days you can always request that they trace the withdraw to see where it went.
