I am supporting a non-profit organization in Sierra Leone. They are helping orphanages who have lost their parents due to the Ebola virus. They have so far used very primitive methods for fund raising, and I have advised them to start using PayPal.
I have some questions:
- The holder of this fund is not very skilled with computers, albeit he can, off course, use e-mail, Facebook etc. He has asked me to help him get started, so can I do this from Norway when he lives in Sierra Leone, and if so, how can this be done?
- What kind of proof do you need to grant him 501(c)(3) privileges?
- Will gifts automatic be transferred to the fund account?
