Hello, we are interested in giving our customers and fans a method to donate to our business through our website and would like to use the PayPal Donate button. We anticipate that the donations will be in excess of 10k as we are about to begin a funding round and we would like to use the Donate button.
We are not clear on this note from PayPal on what type of documentation will be needed when we exceed the 10K to show how we are using the monies.
Note: This button is intended for fundraising. If you are not raising money for a cause, please choose another option. Nonprofits must verify their status to withdraw donations they receive. Users that are not verified nonprofits must demonstrate how their donations will be used, once they raise more than $10,000 USD.
We are a US business with a PayPal business account, a US located bank and a tax ID number. We are trying to be prepared so that our funds are not held from retrieval.
