Does Paypal Express Checkout require shipping information from the buyer?

I'm working on a shop site for a client, and I am using Paypal Express Checkout for my transactions.

Does it require shipping information from the user? Can a user make a purchase through Paypal Express Checkout and not enter there information? 

I just need to know if I need to make a shipping address form myself, or if I can rely on Paypal to capture than information for me.

By default, PayPal Standard and Express Checkout will ask the buyer to provide a shipping address during checkout. If you do not need this, just make sure to set NOSHIPPING=1 in your SetExpressCheckout request. This will effectively remove the requirement for a shipping address during checkout.
