I recently purchased an electric motor form seller, the seller requested I pay directly to pay pal, bypassing ebay. The motor had a different 2 wire connector that needed to be changed to fit my application. I installed motor, it instantly had a problem. I contacted seller, explaining everything I could describe. We agreed I would take motor to qualified repair shop and have it evaluated. Turns out the motor was bad and not fixable. I again contacted seller he said it must have been damaged in shipping. I explained I didn't believe shipping had anything to do with it based on the condition of packaging. Once again he insisted that a claim against fed ex was at fault. He said fedex would pick the motor up and as soon as he received the motor he would refund my payment in full. Now that he has his defective motor back he is denying my refund.
