I've been using Paypal for years now but have been doing more "official" invoicing recently. My product is an electronic embroidery file. When someone wants one of my designs they simply pay,...and then I send them the stitch file in the format they need. These are very small files. I noticed a button on the invoicing page called "Attach File". I understand it's for attaching a file, but what I'm wondering is whether I can attach the file being purchased, but PREVENT the customer from being able to download the file until payment has been completed.
I'm just trying to streamline the process a little so that instead of sending a Paypal invoice, confirming that payment has been completed and then going the extra step of sending them an email with the stitch file,....I'd like to at least try and do it all at once. Please advise on how best to do this. Much obliged for any pointers.
