We are a US non profit and have been asked by people in the UK and South Africa about whether they can donate to us via paypal. I am not asking about tax reciepts etc. but just if it is possible for them to send money.

Yes, if they have PayPal Accounts, they can simply use the Send Money feature. All they need is your account email address. And if you have a web page, assuming you have a Premier or Business Account, they can use a credit card and not be required to have a PayPal Account.

Thanks, What we have is an account registered with Paypal as a charitable non profit 501 C-3. I believe it is considered a business account and we do have a card reader on my ipad for events. We have a button on our webpage that opens a form for them to fill out and send the money. up until now though only US residents have sent us money though that is changing as we have a couple of donors overseas that also want to send funds.
