Hopefully you have either a Preimier or Business Account. Note, that's a requiement if you want to sell online and accept credit cards. You also need to ensure that you have verified your PayPal account, this means that you have linked and confirmed both a bank account and credit card. If you have done that, then if you want to run a test, get a friend or relative to sit with you and make a purchase. You can't do it yourself, it must a different PayPal Account or pay as guest transaction. You can even setup a dummy button for a $1.00 and go thru the process. This is one way to learn how everthing flows.
