Where are Shipping Fee totals for 2011

I have downloaded the monthly sales reports, and the year-end financial statement, but none of those reports show any shipping fees. Does anyone know where I can find the total amount of shipping I paid in 2011? I know I spent over $4000 in shipping, and need the exact figure for tax purposes. Perhaps PayPal lists the shipping fees under "Purchase Activity", since I actually am purchasing postage from the USPS. Or maybe those fees are combined with the other PP account fees? Thanks in advance to anyone who an help me find the total amount of shipping I paid in 2011. Sandy

I would have expected paypal to add USPS or UPS (or both) specific breakdowns on the financial report also since it's a semi-integrated part of paypal and being a merchent.

What you do is download a full year history CSV file and open it in excel or the Libre Office (open office version of excel). From there you can filter down to only payments sent where recipient is USPS or UPS, etc. In come cases it will be to Ebay Shipping.

You'll need to do similar things for payments sent to others for materials etc anyway

This shows my limited usage with Excel-- how do you filter it down to just those things?  I guess I will be googling it for a while.

The report takes an entire 24 hours to show up in your email, so don't wait until the last minute to request the report.  I was surprised it took all the time they said it would.

when you do the search it takes a few minutes. DO NOT check the 'email me" ... just wait for it.. it only takes about 2-3 minutes tops, but keep an eye on the pages, (I dont know how many items you sell, but my 3 month sales were about 50-80 pages long, so wait for all of them to load, then again, on the last page, you will see your total at the bottom of the list, OR click on the drop down menu next to "download" and change it to 'excel" and it was almost instantaniously downloaded to excel... hope this helps 🙂

I finally found out how to get a total of the shipping fees... (no thanks to the PayPal "help" either!

Go to:
History

Reports

Transaction finder

enter  "shipping" in the [search keyword] box

and enter in the date to-from.. Dont forget to CLICK ON AN ACTUAL DATE, or it will go to default (current date)

and hit enter.. BE PATIENT. and then when its finished.. give it some time to get ALL of your dates, then click to the LAST PAGE and on the bottom, it will have your totals (you might have to refresh the page! Or, there is a 'download' option, just change the "pdf." to "excel", and all of the totals for the 90 day period will automatically add up in the column... hope this helped at least one person...

This is only good for the 90 days though.  I have done this but I generally miss it.  Is it too much to ask to have a shipping payments sortable for a whole year?

No.. its only good for NINETY DAYS AT ONE SEARCH... so you can search for Jan1- March31, then April 1- June 30 etc.. I just did it. if you go past the 90 days it will tell you ....... but it means 90 days in ONE SEARCH not the year...

hope this helps 🙂

I did everything you said, and all I get is "no data available"

Am I doing something wrong???

What are you clicking on in the drop down menu for the 'transaction type"??? I tried, "ALL", "payments sent", and "shipping", and still no results show up after I click on "search"

PLEASE be more specific in your directions for those of us that are not as puter saavy as your self, thank you.
